I don't know what is it with these notebook manufacturers these days, it's like some kind of trend to have at least one driver mistaken/not working on the original driver cd provided. I think maybe if they put contextual ads at their 'download drivers' pages they could double profits. Here is another notebook from MSI to which the original driver cd lacks proper audio drivers. There are audio drivers on it, but they won't match. I've downloaded the ones from the Realtek site and they worked like a charm! Here is the info for the model and the original download page at MSI:
